EnergyFit Nevada's Winter Rebate Special
EnergyFit Nevada's Winter Rebate Special is available for a limited time and only for the first 100 Nevada Homes that are upgraded before December 31, 2012! Rebate options have been extended to be applicable to a greater number of homes and help you better afford the energy efficiency improvements completed on your home. To take advantage of EnergyFit Nevada rebates that provide up to $3,000 in for energy efficiency improvements, your home must achieve a minimum of 15% energy savings. Program participation requires an EnergyFit Home Energy Assessment, using an approved contractor, and a minimum $1,000 matching homeowner investment. Remember, these rebates are only for the first 100 homes and all improvements must be completed by December 31, 2012. Special low-interest FINANCING is also available. Liberty High School GREEN Week
Congratulations to Liberty High School for having the first GREEN Week. The students learned about recycling, energy efficiency and did their own recycling audit of Liberty High School. Solar Decathlon 2013
The Solar Decathlon is an international competition initiated by the U.S. Department of Energy with the goal to educate the public about the energy-saving opportunities. Collegiate teams from across the U.S. and around the world design, build, and operate sustainable solar-powered houses. This competition serves as an avenue for academic institutions and their respective teams to showcase their house designs that promote sustainability and the environment. UNLV is among the 20 teams chosen to compete in the Solar Decathlon 2013, which will be held in Orange County Great Park in Irvine, California from October 3-13, 2013.
